The Hotel presents a concept developed around the topic "Feel Guimarães", following the recent dynamics connected to Guimarães 2012, European Capital of Culture. Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal, was the inspiration for the concept "one room, one story". Thus, each of the 20 rooms will have a light box with an artistic creation about the main events, activities and personalities associated to the local History, Culture, Industry and Religion.
