Did you know that with the Mochiles we are in, the legend associated with that end?

At the beginning of the last century when noblemen, city gentlemen traveled to Varaždin on a plac, a former forest, today's beautiful part of Koprivnica would be welcomed by robbers. There they would have tortured them and got their money and treasure. So our end was named "Mochillas."

The old town gentlemen were advised and built the church of St. Mary of Mochiles to keep them in the way and to provide them with shelter from the robbers.
