It is in a former mansion of the eighteenth century Yvon Lambert, art dealer and collector, has decided to deposit his personal collection for a future donation. 350 works from the 60s to today were the first fund, which now has more than 1200 references.

Composed in the 60s, the Collection Lambert represents the tastes of the collector, aspirations and passions. The Minimal Art, Conceptual Art, Land Art are the pillars. Place of creation, exchange and dissemination, the Collection Lambert offers five sectors that are deployed in the 2000m² of the museum exhibitions, cultural programs, activities geared to young audiences, the bookshop and artists' editions the restaurant located in the mansion's courtyard.

Three exhibitions are organized every year, usually in connection with the current artistic or of the Theatre Festival, sometimes in co-production with foreign institutions, allowing the museum for 10 years to shine as a regional point of view that 'international.
