Malmö Stadsteater

Malmö Stadsteater is one of Sweden's leading city theater and sets up about fifteen productions per year. The repertoire reflects both the new Malmö and keeps the classical masterpieces alive. We want to be a theater that engages, maintains and touches all malmo residents.

The theater has a regular actor's ensemble and mainly plays three scenes; Hipp, Intiman and Studio. The main scene Hipp is housed in the ancient circus building Hippodrome in the center of Malmö. The theater's somewhat smaller scene The intimate is adjacent to the Opera on Östra Rönneholmsvägen. At the top of the Hipphus old repsal you will find our smallest stage Studion, which is home to the Young Theater.
