Multikino Sopot

Multikino is the first operator to launch multiplex cinema in Poland in 1998. Since then, Multikino has set the highest standards in building and running cinemas. The Group conducts its activities in the cinema segment and distributes films. Multikino is the operator of 31 cinemas in 25 Polish cities with a total of 253 screens and 53,716 seats.

From 2013 Multikino Media sp. Z o.o. It belongs to the European market leader and one of the largest cinema operators in the world - Vue Entertainment Ltd., which currently operates 146 cinemas with over 1321 screens. The company operates in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Portugal and Taiwan.

In August 2007, Multikino opened a unique cinema at the Złote Tarasy shopping center in Warsaw. The facility consists of 8 modern rooms, including a 777-room dorm room, equipped with Barco DP 4K digital projectors, Martin Audio phenomenal sound system and Europe's largest digital projection screen (nearly 300 m2). In August 2010 the Group opened its first cinema abroad in Riga (8 screens and 1620 seats) and in September in Vilnius (7 screens and 1547 seats).

Multikino is more than a movie! It's the biggest movie premieres and concerts, marathons, sports broadcasts, HD operas, Heavyweight cinema, Multibabykino and much more. Multikino is also the original café network of Cavablanca Cinema Cafe. For years, Multikino has been a partner of the most important film festivals in Poland, including the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia, the Camerimage and the Warsaw Film Festival.

Multikino is among the world's leading digital movie theaters, thanks to BARCO projectors and Dolby 3D projection systems. The network is successfully presenting in 3D: movies, concerts, sporting events, operas and ballet. Multikino is a leader in digitization in Europe, a technological and qualitative breakthrough in the cinema industry.
