Musée Bernard Chardon

The Museum Bernard Chardon was implanted in the Notre Dame Chapel in Lassay Castles, while it was about to be destroyed.

All members of the Friends of Bernard Chardon saw this as a perfect opportunity to combine two artistic causes: the restoration of a typical Mayenne chapel, and exposure to the general public of the undisputed talent of Father Chardon.

With as head aim to make art accessible to all, Bernard and his acolytes were all set to work to give life and warmth to this unique place.

The combination of history and French culture that emerge from the walls of the chapel, and the modernity of the lines drawn by the talented Bernard, give this place a special atmosphere.
