Musée du Combattant de la Haute-Saône

The museum was founded in 1995 by veterans of Luxeuil, inaugurated in 1996 by the grand-son of General De Gaulle, Jean De Gaulle.

We are a small association of 20aine members composed of active military, former air base but also and always veterans who are the biggest wealth of the museum telling their own stories.

Currently the museum has identified almost 8,000 objects and documents unfortunately we can not show you that 70%. All these objects and documents were donated or loaned us. The only things bought were the windows and mannequins, but we still have many things to buy: video screen, and other models well on operating costs. For all this we only have inputs and donations.

This association with several purposes:

• The first of course is the duty of memory,
• But then the museum's role is to pass on to children, adults and older generations some stories, anecdotes of the various conflicts of the twentieth and twenty-first century,
• And above all remember and explain three important dates: November 11, July 14 and May 8
