Museet for Samtidskunst

The Museum of Contemporary Art works with contemporary art's latest expressions. Sound art, performance art, video art, network art and other art forms that have helped to renew the perception of art in the last decades.

Exhibitions and dissemination of contemporary art take place both inside and outside the museum. Among other things, the museum organizes the ACTS - Festival for Performative Art, the sound and performance festival every two years. The museum also has museums education for children and young people.

In the museum's bookstore, guests, students, teachers and other interested artists can find a selection of the most relevant Danish and international literature on contemporary art.

It is possible to buy tea and coffee.

The museum is located in The Royal. Palæ in Roskilde city center, right next to Roskilde Cathedral.
