Delightful museum, a concentrate of art and history. The route runs through four rooms: the first, or the Lombard area, home to the Ara Ratchis and the Baptistery of Callisto, splendid examples of sculpture from the eighth secolo.Visibile 24 September 2011, the virtual color reconstruction of the original color of 'Ara. In the second room you can admire the real proprioTesoro the cathedral: works of sacred jewelery from the ninth to the eighteenth century, including the reliquary "a handbag" oldest in Italy. The third room houses a fine collection of paintings: the "Noli Me Tangere" of Pordenone is among the most interesting. In the fourth room, a collection of the finest vestments kept by the parish of Cividale, along with the planet Patriarch Marcantonio Barbaro, a splendid example of Eastern manufacture.
