Museo di Arti e Mestieri "Pietro Lazzarini"

The Museum of Arts and Crafts "Pietro Lazzarini", housed in a barn / end '800 barn, studies and collects the material evidence of past rural culture and crafts of the valleys Savena, Idice and Setta, in the first Bolognese Apennines . The exhibition, organized to historical reconstruction of environments, proposes a reading of the time objects to transmit traditions, ways of life and language (dialect) of pianorese community. The exhibition, which focuses on the work of women and men, is divided by themes: The rural house, The crafts, the agricultural work, games and Puppetry. Opened in 2007 and managed by the "Land and Civilization Crafts" in collaboration with the Public Administration of Pianoro, it offers educational services and opportunities to rediscover the cultural identity of the area.

THE ASSOCIATION The Cultural Association "Land and Civilization of the Trades" was formed July 18, 2002 and is based at the Arts and Crafts Museum. It is aimed at promoting the participation of its members in research, recovery and preservation of cultural heritage: in specific tools, furnishings and tools in use in the territory of the Valleys of the Savena, Setta, Idice in the past peasant and artisan culture. It aims to involve young people, particularly the world of education, aiming to rediscover the roots, cultural traditions and identity of pianorese territory in the work of research and study. Since 2007, it operates in synergy with the Public Administration Flat, the Museum of Arts and Crafts Peter Lazzarini and one of its primary intentions to enhance and enrich the collection of Peter Lazzarini, welcomed right in the museum. Through the implementation of various projects, it offers an educational service for children and adults, and various occasions to rediscover the cultural identity of the area.
