Museo Etnografico Sa Domo 'e sos Marras

Sa domo 'e sos Marras is an ancient eighteenth century manor house located in the historical center of the village Galte. Through a large wooden door leads to the courtyard, cobblestoned, where stand some of the important items that you can enjoy in the house-museum, for example, an ancient Sardinian cart, a water well, in an archaic Clamps basalt and a plow. The structure resembles a real small castle and is organized on two levels. Inside it was rebuilt various home and work environments. The rooms of the dome, have been set up according to different themes and contain a rich collection of work tools, furniture and furnishings, dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth century, which embellish the various domestic and manor environments. The path to the discovery of the museum is a real trip back in time, including work tools, everyday objects and testimonies of rural life, the agro-pastoral world and the artisan culture of the community of Galtellì.
