Museo Nazionale della Montagna

The Museo Nazionale della Montagna "Duca degli Abruzzi" is located in Turin, at the Monte dei Cappuccini: an extraordinary panoramic position from which you can admire the Alpine mountains and the city below. The idea of ​​establishing a museum was born in 1874 among the first members of the CAI - Italian Alpine Club which for a decade had been born in the same city.

Currently operates the museum, with a wide and composite activities, both nationally and internationally. He wants to be a cultural center which ideally combines, in all respects, the mountains of the entire world. Therefore, following the intended purpose, staging fixed museological plus temporary exhibitions.
