Museum Jorn houses the collections of the internationally renowned artist Asger Jorn, one of the most significant Danish artists in the 20th century. In the years 1953-1973 he donated 5,500 workers from 150 different artists from all over the world to Silkeborg. The collection has grown steadily since 1973 and counts more than 15,000 works. You will find works of experimental art's main characters, among others:
