Pirts muzejs

We are a private open-air museum where we plan to collect at least 20 different baths in one place from all regions of Latvia. We are located 40 km from Riga at Murjāņi-Saulkrasti road. We started work on the creation of the museum a few years ago and we are in the process of creating - in 2017 there are 6 historic and one newly built bathhouses, as well as a large arbor and a children's playground. Our goal is to create a cognitive and leisure place where you can get to know the sauna both through the narration and in practice - all the saunas can be thrown and drowned. You can come home with your family. We work all year round, but there may be restrictions on a large island and deep snow conditions. Visiting the museum with a guided tour must be made in advance.
