We are a group of enthusiasts who have set themselves the goal of creating a Rock Museum in Belgrade, in which the creativity of artists from all over Serbia would be fully equalized. To begin with, we founded the Institute for Contemporary Music and launched an initiative to establish a museum. We were led by two basic motives:

The first motive is the fact that the history of domestic popular music is rich enough and does not lag behind any world metropolis, either in quantity or quality.

The second motive is the need to preserve and maintain the memory of the values ​​of that music and culture, which, you will agree, is absolutely necessary at this time.

The Rock Museum should include other activities such as "Hall of Fame", education, tribunes, lectures, workshops, screenings of thematic films and so on, in addition to the permanent and travel setting.

This is a huge job and that is why we need the support of all who share our position. We just do not have the right to leave the deadline for culture to oblivion - for our sake, and especially for those who come. We are sure that there are many people who have been collecting and preserving photographs, old instruments, sound carriers and all that reminds them of some buckets and creative times for years. It would be nice and helpful to find everything in one place, in one house, and remain available to everyone.

Rok Museum is currently managed by a thematic based association with the same name.
