St.Benedict Bed and Breakfast

St.Benedict is a four storey villa dating to 1882, with a spacious garden and sea views over the English Channel. The house has been lovely restored by its present owners to its original Victorian layout. Fabrics and furnishings have been selected to reflect the style and taste of the 1880s, with great attention to period detail. There are three well appointed guest bedrooms with comfortable double beds, authentic decoration and fittings, and with tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have their private bathroom with Victorian fittings - roll top baths but no showers. The large drawing room is available for guests, with an open fire in the winter. Wifi is freely available. The full English breakfast is served in the dining room from silver serving dishes, in the manner of a Victorian country house. Evening meals are provided on request, as well as meals for parties, residential or not. The large walled garden is available for guests to use. It has a summer house as well as two glasshouses, and even a small chapel. It is a very peaceful, quiet place for tranquil relaxation. St.Benedict is a very unusual and special venue for a day or two at the coast or for a longer stay.
