THEATRE OF WOOL

Is the name of a new cultural space facing the Casentino and the local population, eager to regain the old Municipal Theatre and to see it finally reopened to the public after years of inactivity .. The Teatro della Lana, precisely located within the Stia theater, is structured in different spaces that express the purpose character: the "Ghiacciatino", equipped with a small library and free wi-fi, will host musical performances, microtheatre, cabaret, readings and literary events. On the other hand, "Plateau", will be held concerts and theatrical representations of the most important dimensions. In the main hall, in addition, it will also return the disco, with events and dancing for all tastes.

In general programming they are also provided educational spaces with professionals related to the world of culture and education. There will, finally, forms of territorial promotion, from crafts to food Km0.

The name we have chosen derives from the history link that unites the municipal theater at the old wool mill of Stia. It does not have the ambition to replace the official one, but simply wants to connote the spirit of the new management, oriented to respect and to promote the area.
