Today, the Tessedik Sámuel Museum was established in 1791 with the aim of giving home to the country's first agricultural school. After the end of the Tessedik School of Economics, grammar school, teacher training and student hostel operated in the baroque style building originally. Our exhibitions and programs One permanent exhibition was established in 1979. There are archaeological finds, Tessedik legacies, and small-patter crops, animal husbandry, viticulture, and guild industries. The other exhibition consists of the ethnographic collection of Imre Domán, a veterinary veterinarian, where the tools of animal husbandry and medicine, crop production and peasant cuisine can be seen. Approximately 20 temporary exhibitions are organized every year, which are highly varied. In addition to this, we are looking forward to concerts, family afternoons, book shows and lots of other interesting programs. The only workable and original site of the country's remaining dry mill was built by the Bolza family in 1836 with Slavonian carpets, according to the Indian system. Between 1883 and 1968 he belonged to the Tomka family in Szarvas. The building It is called "dry", because it was not powered by water, but by the vortex. The shingle-covered building consisted of a mill house and two giant circles (one was later demolished) in which two or three horses drove the big wheel around. Up to the turn of the century, milled fodder and grain, milled millet between 1912 and 1962, minced corn and barley, and broiled hornbeam.
