Villa Rucellai Bed & breakfast

Built in various periods from the Middle Ages, the appearance of the Villa now corresponds to the second half of the sixteenth century, when the main changes were made according to a typically Renaissance architectural style.

The buffet breakfast is served every morning in the Villa's dining room from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. For guests who wish to leave early, breakfast can be arranged on request. Breakfast is "continental" style, with coffee, tea, eggs, a variety of cereals, yogurt, fruit, milk and fruit juices. Honey and jams are produced in the Villa and can also be purchased. Coffee, tea and other hot drinks are available all day as "self-service". Guests can take a bottle of house wine (red or white) to drink it in the living room, on the loggia, in the garden or to take it home (€ 3.00 per bottle).

The eleven rooms of the Villa Rucellai are all different in size and furnishings. They are located in different floors of the Villa. There is no lift, so it is important for guests to inform them of any difficulty in getting on and off stairs. No room has a small terrace, but all have a nice view.

The Villa has an outdoor swimming pool ideal for summer days

Two rooms are located on the main floor (main floor). These rooms have always been the actual guest rooms of the family and are the largest and most elegant, with high ceilings, beautiful furniture, and larger bathrooms. They are also the freshest and therefore do not have air conditioning.

On the first floor there are five guest rooms, originally rooms for the service staff, who were equipped and equipped each with a bathroom in the 80s. Two of them look towards the mountain, the others look towards the courtyard and the swimming pool. All these rooms have air conditioning.

Four other rooms, a little 'more modest and a bit' less bright, are located on the lower floors of the Villa. These rooms are offered when the others are occupied.

Guests are asked to vacate rooms by 11.00 am. Guests planning to leave before 8.00 are kindly requested to pay their bill the day before. Guests for one night are kindly requested to pay on arrival.

Cancellations. We do not have the possibility to charge a credit card without having it physically in hand. So it is not enough to have the credit card number to guarantee the booking of a room. We reserve the right to request guests to send a deposit equal to the price of one day as a deposit: in this case we will return the entire deposit if the cancellation occurs within two (2) days from the scheduled arrival. After this date Villa Rucellai reserves the right to return only 50% of the deposit. Guests who do not report any cancellation or even do not arrive will lose the entire deposit.

In accordance with the law in force smoking is forbidden inside the Villa. Those who wish to smoke are asked to do it outside, on the loggia or in the gardens.
