B&B Strupetou

The B & B Strupetou is located in the village of Malchina, in the municipality of Duino Aurisina, just 20 km from Trieste on the Karst plateau overlooking the sea. The house has been recently restored maintaining the characteristics of the karst architecture. A distinctive sign visible from the outside is our fireplace which has become the symbol of the B & B. The inner courtyard is also typically karst, where you can entertain yourself in the warm summer hours under the shade of a wisteria pergola, and the wooden gallery accessible from your rooms. The two large rooms on the first floor are simply furnished with original restored furniture and a touch of multi-ethnicity. An additional room with two single beds suitable for family travelers is located on the attic floor. Wooden floors and ceilings make the environment particularly welcoming. The bathroom with an original mosaic flooring has a spacious shower. On the balcony, outside of each room, there is a table with chairs. If you love the sea in a few minutes you can reach the beaches of Sistiana and the coast of Trieste to practice all water sports (swimming, kayaking, sailing, etc.) or just to sunbathe and relax. If you love nature in a few minutes you are in the open countryside and in the Karst forests for walking or jogging, hiking and mountain biking. Cities of historical and artistic interest such as Trieste, Aquileia, Udine, Gemona, and natural and Archaeological attractions such as the Grotta Gigante and the Postojna Caves, the Castles of Duino and Miramare, are just a few kilometers away.
