Bed En Breakfast De Valkenhorst Lelystad

Welcome to the facebook page of Bed and Breakfast de Valkenhorst in Lelystad. We offer 3 attractive rooms decorated with the 'shop dinners' of our former brocant shop. We have been living in Lelystad since 1984 and settled at our current address in August 2001. Our attempt to start our French store next to our house has unfortunately not been successful, but we now live wonderfully spacious and rural on the outskirts of Lelystad.

Our home - work combination at the Flevopoort business park was fortunately big enough to set up a number of rooms in addition to the Administrative Office that was started in 2004 as Bed & Breakfast. We live close to the A6 and the airport of Lelystad and by car it is only 5 minutes to the city center. We have created enough opportunities for relaxation after a busy day in our sauna, solarium and jacuzzi in our patio garden.

Although Flevoland is the youngest province in the Netherlands, there is plenty to see and do here! We are in the middle of the triangle of the attractive harbor of Enkhuizen, the modern shopping center of Almere and the dolphinarium in Harderwijk. The theme park Walibi Flevo and the Aquamundo of centreparcs in Zeewolde are just a stone's throw away. There is much to do for young and old besides various museums, children's restaurants and the Aviodrome there are several nature parks to explore, not to mention the Batavia outlet and the VOC ship at the Batavia Yard.

On 6 December 2012, the mayor of Lelystad, Margreet Horselenberg, surprised us with the presentation of the certification of 4 tulips after a visit by a mysteryguest from Bed and Breakfast Netherlands.   A B & B with 4 tulips has an excellent quality level. The interior of the B & B is luxurious and a great deal of care has been given to the exterior. You can expect high quality with many amenities and excellent service according to Stichting Bed and Breakfast Nederland.
