Visual Arts Library, Documentation and Information Center
Specialized in the history of art (from archeology to contemporary arts), the visual arts library of ARTS² is an essential department for the life of the establishment. Its reading room, where the various shelves are free access, promotes the decompartmentalization between disciplines. It includes more than 8,000 books (arts and humanities), and about twenty specialized journals. The library is much more than a reading room, it is an information and orientation center where the librarian (L. Vasapolli) provides the student with information about the object of his research, in close contact with the education provided. Upon entering the school, students learn to attend and work in the library. A cultural training course in the library is even included in the curriculum of the first bachelor's degree. Meeting point between teachers and students of the various options, the library facilitates the exchanges between the actors of the institution. Our books are available for consultation only on site. The library is accessible to the public under certain conditions, available on request. Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 9 to 12 hours, and 13 to 17 hours
