Casa del Monacone Bed and Breakfast

At the Casa del Monacone you have the unique possibility of being accommodated in the ancient Franciscan convent located adjacent to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità, at the center of the popular and historic Rione Sanità. The spaces originally intended for the monks have been renovated by young people from the La Paranza cooperative and the famous Neapolitan designer, Riccardo Dalisi. The result today are 6 cozy and comfortable rooms (all with bathroom), a dining room, a kitchen and a terrace (where you can have breakfast near the historic bridge of Sanità). Dalisi has created a soft style, demonstrating that ancient and modern can live together in harmony. The Casa del Monacone is located in a strategic position to visit the beauties of the city, both ancient and modern, because it is close to lines 1 and 2 of the Naples underground. The project was one of the first actions to recover and valorise the under-utilized treasures in the Health District, combining local human resources and private funds with the aim of offering guests visiting the city the opportunity to live "from inside" the District Health and true Neapolitanity.
