Deutsches Hygiene-Museum

The Deutsches Hygiene-Museum is an open discussion forum for anyone interested in the cultural, social and scientific upheavals of our society at the beginning of the 21st century.

His special exhibitions deal with current or historical topics from science and society, art and culture. The focal point of the popular science permanent exhibition "Adventure Human" is the topic of body and health, which can be explored on the basis of exhibits, media installations and many interactive stations. The permanent exhibition also shows numerous objects from the museum's extensive collection, such as the "Transparent Man". The permanent offer is completed by the adventure-oriented children's museum "Our Five Senses".

The teaching of scientific issues and cultural education are traditionally the cornerstones of the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum. In addition to its exhibition activity, it therefore organizes a differentiated management and educational offer for all visitor groups. It is complemented by a wide-ranging program of events consisting of lectures and conferences, readings and concerts.

The professionally equipped convention center of the museum can be used with its different premises for external events with several hundred participants.
