It opened its doors on May 14, 69 and has not yet closed, a record that has made JOHNNY'S's Arenys de Mar the oldest disco in Catalonia. In this period of time, there have been all kinds of celebrities, the Eugeni humorist, Clos ex-Barça player, Rudi Ventura, Pep Munné, Xavier Sard, etc. Josep Mª Vallbona did not come from the revolutionary Paris but from the cosmopolitan London when, at the height of the tourist boom, he opened his venue with the style of the moment, based on sofas, poufs, wood, velvet, mirrors, many San Franciscans and called psychedelic lights.
