Dr. Karl Renner Museum

The Dr. Karl Renner Museum in Gloggnitz is a memorial to the twofold founder of the state, Chancellor of the State and Federal President. Karl Renner and the eventful history of the Republic of Austria. The museum is located on historical ground - in the 1911 bought by Karl Renner summer villa. Our objective is to strengthen historical knowledge and promote a democratic culture of remembrance. At the same time, our museum work consciously focuses on current issues and issues of the present in order to always build the bridge between the past and the future. We are an open place of knowledge transfer, cultural work and social debate. Through events such as book presentations or concerts, we want to keep alive the historical soil.
