The purpose of the Estrad Theater is to support the Hungarian theater life, to develop the theatrical culture and to disseminate it as widely as possible. In this context, the support and coordination of the activities of the Estrad Theater, the establishment and distribution of music and theater productions, projects, festivals, the establishment of a theater public collection where the theatrical culture books, periodicals, manuscripts, images and audio materials are obtained, translations of foreign language material dealing with theater culture, creation of studio productions, theatrical groups, performances, full management of productions, preparation of bidding materials, financial management, taking part of the cost of preparing lectures, offering ready-made productions, organizing and arranging bands; performances, performances of artistic performances, spontaneous art actions outside the institution, support, preparation of the performed performances in Hungary and abroad, participation in Hungarian and foreign festivals and backgrounds.

It is the task of the Theater to ensure the widest possible provision of access to public and / or specific audiences in works created with personal performance artistry.

In the framework of the public interest activities of the Theater, she wants to promote the widespread introduction, spreading and cultural life of the artist's creative work, including the production and presentation of concerts and performances abroad and in the country.

During his international cultural life, he seeks out to develop, develop and promote the national image of the country, to promote national cultural values.
