Festina Lente

Festina Lente charity is home to an Equestrian Centre, Victorian Walled Gardens & Garden Centre & we are an Accredited Education Centre. Wonder Paws also offer dog training and agility classes and dog grooming at Festina Lente. Festina Lente is an embracing foundation which provides a range of training, occupational, learning and employment opportunities for people whose needs are not being met in mainstream services. To achieve this we enter the wonderful worlds of horses and horticulture. All of our activities encourage individual choice, personal development and achievement and progression. Festina Lente is a non-profit charity - which strives to ensure that our premises, facilities and services are among the highest available. Without your support this would not be possible. For this we thank you! Established in 1988 by Mary Rachel Brophy - our aim then and now is to support the social and economic inclusion for those most at risk. Festina Lente is Latin for Hasten Slowly - it is the Plunkett family motto and one we adopted in 1995. We believe it relays our culture perfectly.
