Lia Rumma opens her gallery in Naples in 1971. The gallery focuses its research on the most important 70’s artistic international movements like: Arte Povera, Minimal Art, Land Art and Conceptual Art. In 1999, Lia Rumma gallery inaugurates a new venue in Milan. The gallery has worked on important collaboration with Italian and International Museum and institutions, making important exhibitions, performances and public projects. In 2010 Lia Rumma moves her Milan based gallery to an ex factory in Via Stilicone; the new venue takes up a four level building of approximately 2000sq, opened with a solo show by Ettore Spalletti.
