Golf Sokolov

Golf Sokolov is located close to Sokolov, Dolni Rychnov and Březová u Sokolov. The nearby R6 expressway connecting the towns of Cheb and Karlovy Vary is the access road from three border crossings with Germany from the west and from Prague from the east. The course is located at an altitude of 430 m above sea level. and spreads over an area of ​​about 100 hectares. The height difference of the highest and lowest spot on the pitch is 42 m. The climate is favorable for reaching a long golf season. The construction of the golf course was realized on Sokolovská uhelná a.s. a project linked to remediation and reclamation of land after lignite extraction. From the monotonous "lunar" landscape, a golf course has been built which, with its parameters, design and quality, wants to be among the golf jewels of championship courses in the Czech Republic! The total length of the 18-hole golf course with par 72 is 6288 m. The project was developed by the successful and famous German company STÄDLER GOLF COURSES, which has already designed more than 40 golf courses.
