KEMAL SAMANCIOĞLU (1897-1985)

Sammanoğlu street in 1897, Kemal Samancioglu's father Attorney Hussein Hamdi Samancioglu, who came to the world in the middle neighborhood, mother is Fatma Samancıoğlu. In 1907 he completed the Bartın Hamidiye Mektebini. In 1910-1911 he completed Rusty. He entered Ziraat School in 1913. He became a teacher in 1920, during the National Struggle period he was appointed as the commander of the Amasra Coast Tarassut Detention Center and Bartın Hendek Ereğli Inzibat as the assistant officer, while he served as the midterm teacher of the Central Numune Mektebi. In 1923, he left his teaching and until 1927 he worked as an Agricultural Science Officer. In 1927 he resigned from the civil service and started to deal with free trade. He was elected mayor after the municipal elections. Kemal Samancıoğlu, who has been an mayor between the years of 1929-1973 for a period of 24 years, has also been serving as the Executive Director of the General Directorate of Agricultural Equipments in Turkey, Adana Manager of the Turkish Agricultural Equipments Agency, Turkey Express Bank Director and Anadolu Bank Bartın Branch Manager.

MUSEUM

Kemal Samancioglu donated the house he lived before he died to the Bartın municipality. Kemal Samancıoğlu'nun services and activities to be transferred to future generations of museum studies, the spiritual daughter Hanife Samancıoğlu'nun intense has been.
