La Cascade, Pôle National des Arts du Cirque

Located in the historic district of the god Mithras, the former college St Joseph was rehabilitated and now has designated areas particularly suited to missions Cascade: a playground for the aerial disciplines, an auditorium, a room dance, work rooms for the clown, music ... a marquee and a caravan area, an outdoor performance space, production workshops (sets and costumes).

It is a place of creation, by the presence of two associated companies: Les Nouveaux Nez and peddlers, and the invitation to other artists, other companies to come to the Cascade for creative residencies and / or research.

This is a daily training venue for circus performers, clowns and also musicians, dancers, actors ... allowing the crossing of artistic disciplines (playground, dance room, work rooms, room representation ).

It is a place of formation and transmission of initiation of children and amateurs, to the very depth research with renowned artists as the best in their discipline, through the training of professional artists.

It is a place of artistic and cultural influence, for the meeting with the public by inviting them to discover one hand, work steps from fine presentations of residence but also shows proposed dissemination (room representation, marquee, cloister).
