La Giara Bed & Breakfast

"La Giara" is an ancient dwelling located in the historic center of Brienza, one of the most charming medieval villages in Basilicata, and represents for us a real tourist-cultural reception project. To welcome guests in a suggestive and exclusive atmosphere we have brought back to its original identity the ancient palace preserving during the work of recovery the wooden beams supporting the ceiling, the traditional stairways and the stone fireplace.

In the green of the Mediterranean, a few steps from sites of tourist and cultural interest as well as from the beautiful sea of ​​the Tyrrhenian coast, "La Giara" is an ideal place for an exclusive holiday. You breathe an air of extreme tranquility, a relaxing atmosphere typical of a territory geographically marked by the flow of the river and a lush mountain landscape.

La Giara is a real tourist-cultural welcome project: you will have a traditional breakfast with homemade cakes and typical sweets; you will be accompanied on guided tours and sightseeing tours specially organized according to your wishes and interests; you will attend the homemade preparation of the "poor dishes of the country" and you will taste the traditional flavors. The hosts will always be at your disposal for advice and suggestions. Renovated family furniture, antiques, art pieces and local handicrafts furnish the interiors of the house giving it a familiar, intimate character. Private environments dedicated to relaxation, such as the library and the terraces, alternate with areas of the house designed to promote pleasant convivial moments.
