La Guinguette

La Guinguette is an ephemeral restaurant on the Garonne. In the spirit of the 1950s, La Guinguette rhymes with conviviality, relaxation and gastronomy.

The floating terrace welcomes Toulouse and holidaymakers in search of "good life", feet in the Garonne, the heart in the plate and the head to change of scenery.

The decoration "à la française" is a return to basics and fundamentals. We come to meet, around a gingham tablecloth, in the light of the sun or multicolored loupiotes. The staff, dressed in boaters of yesteryear, invite to travel. At La Guinguette we are far from urban noise but rather in the heart of historic Toulouse. Along the water, we come to enjoy a summer lunch, sip a cocktail, nibble at all hours and dine on the sweet summer evenings.

La Guinguette, the epicurean, offers a cuisine of fresh and seasonal products, in homage to the French terroir. The selection of local artisans and suppliers is an ode to Toulouse. Here, every moment of the day is conducive to idleness. The whole Toulouse comes to get drunk of the serenity of Madame Garonne and to encanailler with notes sometimes jazzy, sometimes musette.

Here time is suspended, infinite summer and total plenitude ... All are received "as at home", such is the creed of the Toulousaine Guinguette.
