Molen De Adriaan

On the ground floor there is a permanent exhibition on the Adrian and various facets of the history of Haarlem. There is also a shop where you have a ticket, mill souvenirs, postcards, ties and printed information about windmills and De Adriaan can buy. The 1st floor has an educational and cultural functions. There is an audio-visual presentation on the Spaarne. It's as if you travel on the river and from the water looking at the most beautiful places and interesting buildings along the banks.

On the 2nd floor is a permanent exhibition about the art of mills. Furthermore, there are periodic demonstrations of how corn into flour. Led by a guide and using models and visual presentations explore how ingenious the wooden structures are kept going by the rotating blades.

Also on the 3rd floor is an exhibition space and you will find a slide and video presentation.

The 4th floor upwards is the domain of the miller. Unforgettable is the time when you enter the statement: twelve meters above the river are spectacular views over the old town. On this floor you can see an audiovisual presentation on inter alia wheeling and milling
