MUDEC - Museo delle Culture

MUDEC - Museum of Cultures is a multidisciplinary center dedicated to the different cultures of the world, with its diversity of functions is part of the panorama of the city as a new landmark cultural space.

Inside the building they are developed different spaces that offer visitors to the city and a variety of cultural activities and services, distributed 17.000mq: from the halls of the museum collection and temporary exhibitions, the auditorium; from the cafeteria to the concept store, which serves a fine selection of books and objects as well as unique pieces of design; from the restaurant to the library; from classrooms to the meeting rooms; from junior to the parking space.

The permanent collection, staged after Expo Milano 2015, will exhibit ethnographic collections of the City of Milan - more than 7,000 works of art, everyday objects, textiles and musical instruments from all continents since 1500 BC until the early years of the last century.

The MUDEC is also home to major temporary exhibitions that explore the different cultures of the world.

It points to the kind of visitors #Mudec #Milano that access to the animals is allowed only on the ground floor of the museum. It is not allowed in any of the exhibition spaces for the protection of the exhibits. Thank you.
