A few steps from the Cathedral, the former Archbishop's Palace, listed building, now the Museum of Fine Arts, home to the renowned collections that make it one of the richest in France.

The museum has collections of a rich and remarkable variety, including an exceptional series of Italian primitives, grouped around the two jewels, the Mantegna's altarpiece of the church of San Zeno in Verona. (Veneziano, Ceccarelli, Cima da Conegliano, Vivarini ...)

Chief among these masterpieces include paintings by Rubens, Rembrandt, Le Sueur and Philippe de Champaigne, Nattier, Largillière, Lemoyne, Butcher, Perronneau, Roslin, Vignon. Arranged mostly in magnificent reception rooms, these works evoke, thanks to the presence of rich furnishings, living in a palace in the eighteenth century.

The nineteenth century painting is represented by the neoclassical economics, Romanticism, Orientalism (Belly, Chassériau, Corot, Delacroix), realism (Bastien-Lepage, Cazin, Gervex). Impressionism, Post-Impressionism and Symbolism are present through the works of Monet, Degas, Henri Martin, Le Sidaner.

The collection of works of the twentieth century currently comprises Asse, Calder, Davidson, Debré, Denis, Di Rosa, Ernst Hartung, Magnelli, Monory, Picasso, Poliakoff, Soulages, Zao Wou-Ki.
