The family of Hashish was an important Provençal family. Its known origins date back to the twelfth century.

In the vaulted room on the ground floor, interesting seventeenth frescoes depict "the four cardinal virtues" and "Four Seasons".

Yves Brayer It is part of the French painters most famous contemporaries, because he brought his personal vision associated with a broad business, although faithful to the figurative tradition.

His work is very diverse, because in addition to his landscapes, he painted large canvases compositions, figures, still life and he was interested in all the techniques available to a fertile artist.

Amateur Mediterranean landscapes, lived in Morocco, Spain and Italy and settled in Camargue and Provence.
