The main purpose of the museum is to preserve the historical heritage of the Scalve Valley, and has the will to hand down to coming generations the historical memory relating to the uses and customs of the locals. Also there are references to emigration, particularly acute problem in the Valley in the years 1890-1920. The equipment, documents and objects kept inside were collected by volunteers and involve work activities prior to the '50s and' 60s of the twentieth century, such as the agricultural and livestock activities; the activities of the forestry; the craft and mining. Inside the exhibition can be seen, between the various findings, a frame with which a time is wove the canvas, a millstone with that produced in the flour and a press for the production of linseed oil, used as a fuel in lamps, as food and as medicine.
