The Historical Museum of the Gothic Line of Casinina (PU) is the first and most important museum of its kind in central Italy. It is located on what was once the "first line of the Gothic", that is, the left bank of the Leaf River, the theater of violent clashes in 1944 between the German army and the Allied Eighth Army. E 'was established in 1992 by Professor John Tiberi, Cavaliere della Repubblica, to document the tragic events of that period and, through them, to demonstrate how despicable war and all forms of violence. Inside the museum it is exposed over 3000 artefacts found on the battlefield, a rare collection of uniforms and original documentation of events. The museum also has a valuable historical archive - unique in its kind in Italy - with a rare collection of documents relating to the first half of the twentieth century as well as a library and a historical film library. Attached to the museum there is also the Memorial Park, which displays military equipment of the time and where he established the international monument in honor of the fallen soldiers and civilians of World War II.
