Music invites discovery of world music instrument collections (including the famous Nile Herzka collection, oboe reeds largest collection) and cultural contexts and musical worlds from which they come.

Located in the heart of a Mediterranean border and territory in which the tradition of popular oboe remains deeply rooted, the museum space is intended as a permanent exchange between cultures, a bridge between the intangible heritages of East and West .

Beyond its vocation of exhibition space, music invites the visitor to travel, roaming, placing the imagination, dreams and wonder about the center of the museum. Here sensory experience is experienced as a preamble to any other form of knowledge. The place opens to the wider public; philistines and experts are concerned by the many proposals declined throughout the seasons. artist residencies, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, musical practice workshops, dance, instrument making workshops forge permanent links between artists, factors, speakers and visitors.
