Museum of the Home Army im. Gen. Emil Fieldorf "Nila" in Cracow is the only institution of its kind in Poland to disseminate knowledge about the Polish Underground State and its armed forces. Our establishment was established as a joint venture of the Commune of Cracow and Małopolskie Voivodship in 2000, and its formal appointment was preceded by ten years of efforts to collect and display historical memorabilia by the AK Veterans. So far, the Museum has collected almost 7,000 museums and more than 12,000 archives - mainly the gifts of AK Soldiers and their families scattered all over the world - historical relics, often of the nature of exhibits-relics; There are about 11500 volumes in the library. Exhibitions at the Museum and beyond only in 2011 were visited by nearly 100,000 people, not including attendees of events, conferences, lectures, lectures, lectures, museum lessons or historical shows of weapons and soldier's outfits. The idea of ​​the AK Museum is to present the whole picture of the Polish underground together with its spiritual origins and the shape of its patriotic heritage to the present. On September 27, 2012, a permanent exhibition was presented which presents the history of the Polish Underground State during World War II against the background of the Polish independence traditions. Museum of the Home Army is open: Tuesday - Sunday: from 11.00 - 18.00
