The Museum of Municipal Engineering, founded by the Municipality of Cracow in 1998, collects objects illustrating the development of urban transport, power plants, gas industry, communal management and historical monuments. The Museum carries out its basic statutory objectives: it collects, develops, documents and disseminates objects in the history of technology, technology, industry and urban engineering. Museum collections include objects illustrating these areas of human production, focusing primarily on the preservation of the Polish heritage. Museum exhibitions are presented in the buildings of the oldest Krakow depot of tram and electric tram.
