Willa Koliba is the first house in the style of Zakopane, built according to the design of Stanisław Witkiewicz. It is located on Kościeliska Street - the oldest street in Zakopane, for which historic houses and traditional mountain farms are typical. The museum in "Opolance" is the four rooms of the former Makuszynski State dwelling. The collections include, among others, collections (subsequent editions of works by writers, literary and historical literature about his works and memoir literature). The writer's archive is not only manuscripts, but also a rich collection of letters from prominent writers, painters, musicians, theater people, scholars, politicians and extensive correspondence from readers. Oksza's Villa is a new branch of the Tatra Museum, where the permanent exhibition "Artists and Art in Zakopane" is located, presenting the work of the Zakopane Art Colony until 1939, when the city was the center of artistic and intellectual life of Poles, among them architecture and ornamentation. Zakopane style, Witkacy's portrait collection, paintings by Rafał Malczewski, Zofia Stryjeńska and Wojciech Weiss. In addition, many temporary exhibitions are organized in the Gallery.

The gallery is housed in a brick mansion built in the early twenties of the 20th century. The Kulczycki Gallery serves primarily the Art Department. There are collections that have not been found on permanent exhibitions. There are thematic cycles like Tatra Landscape, Tatras and Podhale in watercolors or Portrait from the collection of the Tatra Museum. It is also a place for exhibitions for ethnographic and natural collections and devoted to the history of skiing. Near the Gallery there is a famous villa "Pod Jedlami".

The exposition at the Museum reminds of Chocholow's important episode from 1846, called "porousness" Chochołowskiego. Opened in 1978, the Museum of the Chochołowskie Uprising is located in the historic cottage belonging to a wealthy landlord Jan Bafia. This object is characteristic of the Podhale region - made of amphibians, frame construction. It consists of a hallway, a "black" and a "white" chamber, a chamber and a barn above the chamber.

Court buildings in Łopuszna belong to the Tatra Museum since May 1978. At that time the restoration works of destructive buildings began. Outside, you can see an exhibition devoted to the village of Łopuszna, the history of the manor house, its inhabitants and visitors. Nearly there is a small historic house called "gackiem".
