The Theater Museum, also known as "Dom pod Krzyż" (from the name of the building where it is housed) is one of the fourteen branches of the Historical Museum of Krakow. It was almost half a century ago - in 1969. For several years, due to the necessity of refreshing the exhibition as well as the renovation of the building itself, the permanent exhibition of the branch is closed but the branch itself invariably works by organizing temporary exhibitions, conducting educational activities, providing necessary information to all those interested in the theater and, most importantly, collecting and compiling collections.
