Noordzee, Hotel & Spa

In 1933 my grandparents, Piet and Sientje Faas, built their first hotel on the dunes in Cadzand. It was the first hotel in Cadzand, luxury for that time with cold and warm running water in every room.

In 1960 it was time for the next generation and my father Piet Jr. and my mother Rietje left the hotel. In 1980 the hotel had to be demolished because the dunes were too crumbled and the hotel was too close to the edge of the dunes. There was then a completely new hotel with all facilities of that time.

In 2001 it was time for the current generation to continue the family tradition. Then my wife Heleen and I took over the hotel. The youngest generation of the Faas family is also present, although they are still too young to work in the hotel ...
