A performance at Playhouse Theater on Drottninggatan 71 in Stockholm is always a new play, a story that has not previously been shown in Sweden: current, engaging and inspiring. Here you can see the best newly written and award-winning pieces directly from the scenes in New York performed in Swedish. Since its inception in 2000, the artistic director of the theater, Elisabet Klason and Björn Lönner, translated, produced and recorded over twenty sets (all Swedish premiers, most Scandinavian or European premieres), and introduced many previously unplayed dramatists in Sweden.
