Riihipiha-museo

The Peasant Museum, built in the Vuolijoki church, collects, preserves and presents the Kainuu countryside yard and its activities as it was before the use of electricity. Buildings in Riihihiha and around 4000 objects tell how life in Vuolijo and Kainuu was during the previous generations.

The Riihipiha Museum is open to the public on 1.6.-6.8.2017 Wed-Sun from 11-17.00. The museum area is closed on Midsummer Eve and Day. Admission is 5 €, children under 12 free of charge.

Riihipihan kesäpäivät vietetään 1.-2.7.2017 from 10 to 16.00. Admission to summer event: adults 10 €, students, conscripts 5 € and under 16 years free.
