Judo at the Royal Judo Club Mons and its associated schools

The reputation of sport and in particular that of physical education is well established.

Everyone knows now the happy influence that an adequate sport practice can exert on the evolution of the human body and in particular on the harmony of its development.

It nevertheless appears that certain disciplines, difficult to teach at school level, are still unknown and neglected.

This deprives a whole class of children of different motor and emotional experiences, and at the same time diverts them from sports for which they might have provisions.

This is the case of judo

A fundamental sport in the same way as so many other activities, judo accurately reflects the "first" character of sports philosophy, namely: to defeat opposition!

Combat sport if any, the fact remains that judo remains an excellent medium of moral education and even intellectual.

First, by the richness of the situations and the steps that all sporting practice imposes, but then and especially: because it is his vocation!

Judo has been designed, structured and is always used as a physical education method!

 It has the added advantage of being a sport in itself, is not it Olympic? and if so, it can even prove to be an excellent means of self-defense.

It is ultimately by making maximum use of this web of interactions that our teaching method works.

In this way we hope to contribute to the development of all our practitioners by providing them to the extent of our means:

• a non-negligible pedagogical support.

• emotional as well as bodily control.

And in the end, what many of us expect from a club, whether sporty or not: - a project.

Project that for the judoka only has a few words but means a lot for him:

 Access to the grade of black belt!
