SONOTOPIA aims to combine audio with historical objects by developing a tangible intangible interface, ie an interface that balances between the material and intangible. Information design & Integrated systems from MdH collaborate in this project with the Historical Museum in Stockholm.

Both students and a sound artist will be involved in the project. In this project we want to bring together cultural objects and visitors from an established social institution with sound art and recent developments in computer science and interaction / information design research.

In autumn 2014 until spring 2015, all interested parties can take part in the project in one of the Museum's historical exhibitions.

From autumn 2013 until autumn 2014, there are students from the Informational Design & Spatial Design Program, which will create the sound room around a grave ball from the Viking Age. This will be part of the History Museum's forthcoming exhibition, Homebuilding, which opens with a revival on October 4, 2014.

Here on Facebook you can follow the project through our posts, pictures and movies that we will post, but also through linked blog posts from innovativkultur.se
